The Head of the Association of International banks in Cyprus and the Russian Commercial bank Kirill Zimarin, told the press about his optimism. After the meeting with one of the political parties, he stated that the banking system in Cyprus has demonstrated its viability. Mr. Zimarin said that the international financial sector is still strong and there is still a belief in the potential of Cyprus, despite the difficulties that have been faced.

Mr. Zimarin also added that international banks are setting an example for the future by staying in the country. He hopes that it will help in the further development of Cyprus.
